Overview

The Talkative Parents communications platform including the website and web-based portal at www.talkativeparents.com and any affiliated websites, the mobile application, the SMS text messages and any software and databases that ensure effective operation (hereinafter “Service”) is owned and operated by Yara Technologies (Private) Limited (PV206939) (hereinafter referred to as ” we”, “our” and “us”). By using the Service and thereby providing personal information, you consent to us collecting, using, storing and disclosing your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy relates to the collection and use of personal information you may supply to us through your conduct on the Service and any personal information we collect from third party providers such as the schools with which we engage. We reserve the right, in our discretion, to modify or remove portions of this Privacy Policy at any time. This Privacy Policy is in addition to any other terms and conditions applicable to the Service. We do not make any representations about third party websites and applications that may be linked to the Service. We recognise the importance of protecting the privacy of information collected about users of the Service, in particular information that is capable of identifying an individual (“personal information”). This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which your personal information, obtained through the Service, will be dealt with. This Privacy Policy should be reviewed periodically so that you are updated on any changes.

Personal Information Collected

Personal information is information or an opinion about you or from which you can be reasonably identified. Personal information about users of the Service is collected from information that you provide us directly or indirectly through your use of the Service.

Information that may be subject to collection in the course of your use of the Service includes but is not limited to:

  4. d) Any content related to school event, calendars, staff information etc.  posted on the Service; and

We may also collect details of your visits to our website, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own purposes or otherwise.

For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using cookies. A cookie is a small file stored on the hard drive of your computer. These linked applications, websites and platforms are not under our control, and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of companies linked to the Service. Those links are provided for convenience and may not remain current or be maintained. Before disclosing your personal information to any third party linked to us, we advise you to examine the terms and conditions of using that application, website and social media platform and its privacy statement.

    Disclaimer

    We do not monitor, review or exercise any control over the content transmitted by users when using the Service (though we reserve the right to block content that we reasonably believe may subject us or our users to liability). Accordingly, personal information included in the user content posted on the Service is not governed by this Privacy Policy.

    Change to Our Privacy Policy

    We may, from time to time, amend this Privacy Policy, in whole or part, in our sole discretion. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy on our website or mobile application.

    Depending on the nature of the change, we may announce the change. However, in any event, by continuing to use the Service following any changes, you will be deemed to have agreed to such changes.
